Creating a Forecast Profile 
To create a forecast profile:
- Choose Settings → Forecast profile from one of the main SOP menus.
The forecast profile configuration overview appears.
- Choose Edit → New entries.
The new entries screen appears.
- Enter a unique name for your forecast profile and a profile description.
- Make your settings.
The forecast strategy is either a forecast model or a model selection procedure. For further information on this and other settings, see Forecast Models, Forecast Parameters, Manual Model Selection, and Automatic Model Selection.
- To save your forecast profile, choose Table view → Save.
You can also create forecast profiles in Customizing for Sales & Operations Planning (SOP).
