Creating PIRs with Reference 
Prerequisites
You must have performed planning procedures and have results to use as reference. You can choose from the following reference types:
- Sales plan of a material
- Sales plan of a product group
- Production plan of a material
- Production plan of a product group
- Results of flexible planning from SOP
- Simulative dependent requirements for characteristics planning
- Material forecasts
- Planned independent requirements of other materials
- Planned independent requirements of the same material
- The original plan of the same material
Procedure
- To create planned independent requirements using a reference, on the Demand Management screen, select Planned indep.reqmts → Create.
The screen for creating planned independent requirements appears.
- Enter the material number, the name of the product group or the requirements plan.
- Enter the plant and / or the material (see
Material Requirements Planning).
- Enter the version.
- Choose Reference.
The Copy Reference dialog box appears.
- Select a reference type.
