Continuous and Discrete Distribution 
The distribution of capacity requirements for an operation that extends over several periods is carried out on the basis of a distribution function. Based on this distribution function, the capacity requirements can be distributed continuously or discretely over the periods.
The following table shows the basis values of a distribution function. The basic values specify after what percentage of the operating time a particular percentage of the total capacity requirements have to be loaded.
