Shifts 
The available capacity of a shift is defined by the following data:
- Shift start, shift end, break times
- Capacity utilization rate
- Number of individual capacities
Shift start, shift end and break times can be manually maintained in intervals of available capacity.
You can however also use shift definitions and shift sequences, which you define in Customizing the Work center under Define shift sequence for all your work centers.
Rules for Shift Sequences
- Shifts cannot overlap.
- The last shift of a day must start before midnight. It can end after midnight.
