Sub-Operation Dates

Sub-operations are not divided into individual operation segments in scheduling. The system schedules start and finish dates for the sub-operations from their reference dates.

To define the start and the finish of a sub-operation, you must maintain the following data on the Operation Details screen:

a reference date (for example, start of setup or finish of the execution of the corresponding operation)
an offset

If the offset is positive, forward scheduling is carried out starting from the reference date.
If the offset is negative, backward scheduling is carried out starting from the reference date.

If you have not maintained scheduling data for a sub-operation, the start date of setup and the finish date of execution are transferred to the sub-operation.
