Maintaining Operations/Sub-Operations

Prerequisites

The following data already exists in the system:

  • The general routing header data
  • The work centers at which the operations and suboperations are to be carried out
  • If required, standard texts that you can copy to the long texts of operations and sub-operations

Procedure

  1. Call up the operation overview.
  2. Enter the data for the operations and sub-operations on the operation overview.

In the following table you can determine

– Which fields are relevant for operations and which for sub-operations

– Which fields can possibly have a default value

You can change each of these default value in the routing, except when you have set a reference indicator for a default value in the work center. If necessary you can also change the profile in the routing.

  1. Save your routing.

The system saves the routing.

If you have not entered data for an operation or sub-operation that should or must be entered according to the rule for maintenance of the work center, the Check operation screen is displayed automatically. In this case, enter the necessary data and choose Continue. The system then saves the routing.
