Creating Production Resources/Tools as a Document 

  1. On the R/3 main menu choose Logistics → Production → Master data → Prod.resources/tools and then Prod.resources/tools → Document → Create.
  2. Enter the relevant data on the initial screen.

Use a document category that is intended for use as a production resource/tool.

  1. Choose Enter.
  2. Enter the document data.

You release the document for use as a PRT by maintaining the document status..

  1. Save the document.
