Copying a Planning Version with Mass Processing

To copy the contents of one planning version to another planning version of the same information structure using a mass processing job:

From the standard SOP or flexible planning menu, choose Planning → Mass processing → Copy/delete version → In info structure.

The screen in which you specify the parameters for your job appears.

Enter the information structure(s) to which the job is to apply.
If you want to limit the scope of the planning horizon, enter dates in the From date and To date fields.
Enter the source version, that is, the planning version from which you want the data to be copied.
Enter the target version, that is, the planning version to which you want the data to be copied.

If this version does not already exist, the system will create it.

Choose either Edit → Get variant to use an existing variant or Edit → Save as variant to create a variant.
On the next screen, specify your variant attributes.
