Creating Documents 

Use

Users who are not SAP-literate, and who do not have access to a SAP graphical user interface (SAP GUI), can use this BSP application to create documents within the framework of document management (SAP application component CA-DMS).

Choose document type

When you choose the Create link on the WebDocuments homepage, you get a list of all the document types you can choose for processing in the Web interface. You make these settings in the Customizing for Document Management, under Set WebDocuments (BSP).

Maintain data

The system tells you, on the basis of the system settings in Customizing for Document Management, under Set WebDocuments (BSP), the data that you can maintain when creating documents. You make the settings in the substeps Define Document Type for Web Application and Define Sequence for Field Groups.

Maintain language-dependent short texts

Choose the language in the data section Language-Dependent Short Text, and enter the descriptive short text.

  • Choose Copy. The system transfers the text into the list of language-dependent texts.
  • Save the document.
